Why did you join VERSE?

I decided to pursue my content and stream career more heavily this past year and after experiencing the struggles firsthand of how difficult it is to be successful in a space where it's dominated by everything who looks opposite of me...Verse was the perfect solution. It's a space where I already have great friends with a mindset of changing the status-quo.

 

When did you get into content creating and how has your content evolved since?

I got into content creation all the back in 2010! I first started uploading YouTube videos of Minecraft lets plays and other challenges while learning how to edit on Sony Vegas and other tools. It of course has evolved immensely since then because I was able to attend university and graduate with a degree in Communications (Media & Advertising). With that, I took what I learned and the skills of how to learn and analyze media that I consume so that I can apply it to my own content.

 

What goal or milestone are you currently working on achieving?

My goal for 2023 is to be able to successfully have my content create a consistent line of side-income. I always had the goal of being able to work for myself. I always hated having to apologize for being who I naturally am in many different ways. I want to be able to create a space where no one feels out of place. A space where no apologies are needed.

 

How does gaming culture need to evolve and what would you like to see change?

We need a Tier One group of DIVERSITY. (Why are there no pro teams with mixed genders??) I would love to see content, both professional and CC where we have representation of all walks of people.

Are there any achievements you’d love to share?

I reached a point in my career where I proudly say "I'm a content creator." My fiancée proudly tells our friends and family, and even shows them my streams and content whenever the chance comes up. That really feels like the best award I can ever receive
